Let’s be real. It’s capturing more than the face of your brand. We’re capturing your story and celebrating your business vibe!

One of the smartest ways to invest in the brand of your business is to create a large library of images. By capturing numerous expressive and engaging photos, you’ll have images to use throughout the life of your business. I bet you’re always searching for photos to use in social media posts, profile pictures, cover photos, business materials, print ads, press releases, business cards, speaking engagements, etc. Let’s make this easy for you by filling a deep digital shelf with beautifully customized branding photos. When I’m done, your image library will be one of your most valuable branding assets.

Remember, you are the face of your brand. Long ago are the days of shying away from the camera. Your potential and current customers want to see YOU. They want to know what to expect when they meet you, walk through your door, invest in your services or use your products.

Take a look at how the businesses below are able to communicate their personality as well as the personality of their businesses through lifestyle headshots, family / team images, product photos, images of ideal clients and styled stock galleries.

Like what you see? Awesome! Sounds like you’re ready to talk about taking your brand’s visual library to the next level!

Personal Branding Photography FAQs

+ Don't I just need a headshot?

No! While a great headshot IS super important, your goal is to convert an audience (whether its website visitor, social media followers) into paying customers! In our digital world, entrepreneurs showcase their products and business via websites, blogs, enewsletters, printed pieces and social media. A headshot alone isn't enough anymore and does little to communicate your message. An outdated headshot is even worse!

+ Do you do pre-session consultations?

Absolutely! We’ll have a pre-session consultation to go over ideas, outfits and what you will need to have during your personal branding session to figure out how to showcase your brand. We would also discuss whether or not you need models to pose as clients. Most of my personal branding clients enlist the help of friends and family members (and sometimes actual clients) for this part. We want to be completely prepared so that everything will run smoothly. I’ll also check in via text or email occasionally as the date approaches.

+ What happens during the session?

I’ll have you do several different things that relates to your business. I may have you do these things multiple times. This isn’t because you’re doing anything wrong, it’s just to ensure that I get the perfect shot and/or angle and that it will showcase your brand and business. My goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible during the session and to get the best shots! Sessions are actually a lot of fun- I promise!

+ How can I prepare for a session?

There are lots to consider when getting your personal branding photos done. You want these photos to be a representation of you, your brand and what your brand is all about. Planning is key so these photos really showcase your brand and your business. While everyone has their own method of preparation, I can definitely give you some insider tips for how to prepare and make sure your personal branding photo shoot is a smashing success.

Before your session: I suggest starting a Pinterest inspiration board, start dog-earing magazine pages and definitely start trying on various clothing to see what you feel best in and what matches your brand. As the day gets closer, start narrowing down your inspiration boards and ideas. That includes outfits, hair and makeup for women, and even props.

Depending on your business, props can be a really important part of your photo session. We'll definitely get photographs of you without props, but we want to make sure we include pictures of you with meaningful items that represent who you are as a business owner or entrepreneur and your brand. We also want to incorporate photos of you with your physical products!

+ How should I prepare my models and/or staff?

If we are using models or staff in your session, you will want to verify they will be ready to shoot the time and day we have agreed on. Make sure you know what they are wearing and that their wardrobe matches your brand! For example, if your brand incorporates a lot of calming elements and cool neutrals, we definitely do not want your models showing up in a bright red outfit! Your models/staff should also be very well informed about what is expected of them and how the images will be used.

+ What should I wear?

You should keep your brand in mind when deciding what to wear and try to keep your outfits consistent with your brand. I know this might sound like a really abstract concept, but I've got you covered! I can help you pick out the best wardrobe to use in your photos. Here are a couple of Pinterest boards here and here I put together for inspiration

+ What types of pictures will I receive from my personal branding sessions?

It depends on the Collection that you choose. The most basic Collection is usually just headshots. The Deluxe Collection includes headshots, as well as product, lifestyle and photojournalistic images.

Both your brand, yourself, and your business will be thoughtfully showcased in your library of images. To view some examples, visit one of these featured sessions: Kim Moore Executive Coaching, Sculpt Pilates Studio, KG Wellness, or Champagne at Home Personal Organizing & Design.

+ I want to use these pictures for my business, is that allowed?

This is a common question and yes you can use your photos for your business. All of the photos from the personal branding shoot will include reproduction rights that allow you to use the images on your website, social media, and printed pieces (such as business cards or brochures).

+ How much do your Personal Branding Photography Sessions cost?

I have created three different Collections to fit various needs and budgets. They range from $300 - $1,600.

+ How long does it take to get images?

Once our photo shoot is over, I carefully cull and edit the images. This process generally takes 2-3 weeks, but if you have an immediate need, I can usually shorten that timeframe.

“Tracy is such a pleasure to work with. Her photos are beautiful and she makes you so comfortable, while also making the session run efficiently. Also, her editing is amazing; she lights you up just right and makes you look your best! Can’t wait to work with her again!”
